NEW RECORD PROFIT AT SEMPERIT AG HOLDING INDUSTRIAL GROUP:

DIVIDEND TO BE RAISED TO 77 EURO CENTS PER SHARE

The final results reported in the annual financial statements of the Semperit AG Holding industrial group for 2005 confirm the provisional figures already announced. New record results were achieved with pre-tax profit of €53.6 million (+ 3.0 %) and a consolidated net profit of €36.7 million (+ 19.3 %). The Semperit Group has thus improved its business results for the fifteenth consecutive year. Consolidated sales increased to a new high of €515.0 million (+ 7.9 %).

In keeping with this further improvement in the profit situation, the Management Board will submit a proposal to the upcoming General Meeting to increase the dividend again from 70 euro cents to 77 euro cents per share. The amount distributed is equivalent to 74 % of the share capital (2004: 67 %).
