Semperit At A Glance

The founding of Semperit can be traced back to Johann Nepomuk Reithoffer, who was granted the imperial concession to produce waterproof clothing from woollen fabrics. Semperit has been listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange since the year 1890. Following a varied and colourful history, the Semperit Group was completely restructured during the 1980s. At that time, a new strategic direction was charted, which is still being pursued today.  The persistent implementation of an internationalisation strategy, rigid cost management and the concentration on four clearly-defined divisions has led to continuing growth of the entire Semperit Group in recent years.
