Semperit AG Holding is a leading global, Austrian-based industrial group achieving growth in the fields of medicial and industrial. The longstanding tradition of the company focusing on the development, production and sale of high quality rubber and plastics products dates back to the year 1824.
The Semperit Group has a leading market position on international markets based on the two sectors of its business operations, the Business Sector Medical (medical gloves and protective gloves for industrial applications) and the Business Sector Industrial (hydraulic and industrial hoses, conveyor belts, construction profiles, industrial moulded parts, handrails, cable car technology and rubber sheeting).
Semperit employs a work force of about 7,833 people at 21 production facilities and numerous sales offices in Europe, Asia and America. In the financial year 2011, the Group generated total revenue of approximately EUR 820 million, compared to about EUR 690 million for year 2010.
